HEAL MY CHILD OH LORD

This heartfelt and emotional song, “Heal My Child, Oh Lord,” tells the gripping story of a father who has endured unimaginable loss. In the aftermath of a devastating tragedy, he finds himself the sole survivor, apart from his 13-month-old daughter, who miraculously survived the destruction of their home. The father’s wife, five other children, and extended family perished in the bombing, leaving his heart shattered and his world in ruins. Cradling his injured baby girl in his arms, with no access to medical help and no means to ease her pain, he turns to the only source of hope he has left is God. This song is his prayer, his cry, and his unwavering declaration of faith. With raw emotion, he pleads for a miracle, reminding God of His promises to heal and provide. Through the poignant lyrics, the father reflects on the biblical miracles of Jesus—raising Lazarus, restoring sight to the blind, and answering prayers of faith. His love for the Lord shines through even in the midst of his heartbreak, as he trusts that God has saved his daughter’s life for a reason. He sings not just for her healing but as a testimony of faith in the God of miracles. “Heal My Child, Oh Lord” is a powerful reminder of the resilience of the human spirit and the strength found in faith, even when faced with overwhelming grief. It’s a song that speaks to anyone who has experienced loss, pain, or a desperate need for divine intervention. May it inspire hope and bring comfort to those who listen. Join the father in this prayerful plea, and let the song resonate as a beacon of faith in the darkest times. Please like, share, and subscribe to support this message of hope. Thank You, Lord (A Song of Gratitude) This song conveys gratitude, repentance, and love, beautifully resonating with the heartfelt sentiments of the prayer.

THE COVENANT OF GOD

This song intertwines the themes of God’s covenant, unity, and the transformative power of Christ’s sacrifice to encourage reverence and commitment to God’s promises.)

1. Definition of “Covenant” A covenant is a holy alliance between God and his people. It’s a covenantal relationship with God, who commits to man, who promises help, provision and safety in return for fidelity and obedience. Covenants are the epitome of the biblical story, and they express God’s longing to form a covenantal relationship with mankind. Such covenants as those made with Noah, Abraham and Moses were fulfilled in the New Covenant in Jesus Christ, as a sign of God’s unconditional love and faithfulness.

2. God’s Desire for Relationship God wants intimacy with his children. On Leviticus 26:12, Jeremiah 32:38, and Ezekiel 37:27, God tells us that he will dwell among His people, to be their God, and have them as His own. This closeness is how His heart is set on intimacy, where he goes with His people, leads them. For a believer, this call reminds us that our lives are to be lived according to God’s will, and we need to count on God to be by our side always, as a steadfast love.

3. Rebuilding in Difficult Times Life throws up hurdles, and sometimes God asks his church to rebuild when it is falling apart. Ezekiel 37:1-9 shows us this in the dream of the valley of arid bones, in which God commands Ezekiel to declare new life into the dead. This verse invites the faithful to believe that God restores and renews. It teaches us that there is nothing he can’t solve, and that prayer, submission and dependence on God can revive the most hopeless conditions.

4. Preaching Breath and Holy Spirit. The “breath” of Ezekiel 37 is the breath of the Holy Spirit. The bones were made alive, when Ezekiel spoke the word of the breath – that was the spiritual transformation. This symbolism reminds believers that the Spirit of God is needed for spiritual strength, so they can live intentionally and justly. The Holy Spirit indwells and empowers Christ’s followers to do God’s will. The invitation to prophesy breath invites us to become hope bearers, to let God’s change-maker power enter our lives and worlds.

5. Unity Among God’s People And in Ezekiel 37:15-22, God’s longing for unity can be found in the reunification of Judah and Joseph (the tribes of Israel). That co-existence is what it is God desires to see His people co-exist. For contemporary Christians, it is an invitation to break down walls and live in the love and unity of Christ. It takes action, like forgiveness, understanding, and working with others in faith groups to embody God’s Kingdom on Earth

. 6. The New Covenant through Jesus Luke 22:20 speaks of the New Covenant made by Jesus’ death. The covenant is written in His blood, and it is a covenant of forgiveness of sins that brings human beings to God. It is the realization of the Old Covenant covenants and relationship with God in a personal manner by faith in Christ. Redeemed people are no longer under law, but free to live in grace with the Holy Spirit who is to lead a righteous life and to live forever in the hope of eternal life.

7. As New Covenant Children: How We Live. Being New Covenant children changes every aspect of a Christian’s life. It offers a new self that is Christ-based, which is grace, liberty, and hope. This is the relationship of love, justice and mercy. Christians are missionaries for Christ, to spread the gospel and live by His words. This is why the New Covenant gives God’s promises life in the world, and thereby strengthens them, motivates them, and promises to be with us forevermore.

POWER OF GRATITUDE WITH LYRICS

Good morning All !.Today I want to talk about something that could transform our life, our belief and our hearts to God. That subject is gratitude. This is why appreciation is not simply a polite “thank you” or a passing thanks. As Christians, gratitude is an act of worship and communion with God. And it is the eye wherein we see His working in the hardest situation. Graciousness is written about a lot in the Bible. In 1 Thessalonians 5:18, Paul is writing: “Give thanks in all things; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Notice he said in all things, not for all things. This distinction is vital.

Paul does not invite us to give thanks in the face of suffering but rather to give thanks through it. For gratefulness in all things means that God is sovereign, that He is here, and that He is at work everywhere for the glory of the love of Him (Romans 8:28).

Gratitude as a Command Why does God say to give thanks? Gratitude gives God credit and puts God first. We are told in Psalm 100:4: “Give thanks to Him at his gates, and worship in His courts; praise him and thank him.” Giving thanks isn’t optional; it is part of worship. It trains our hearts to meet God and see his goodness. Gratitude is about getting on the same page with God. It is the avowal that He is good, that His affection lasts all the days, and that His fidelity endures for ever (Psalm 100:5).

Gratitude accepts God’s hand in all good things, great and small. We are reminded in James 1:17 that, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights.” To be aware of this reality is to remain humble and dependent on Him.

Gratitude in Difficult Times And what about when the going gets rough? When the wallet is empty, the diagnosis bleak, or the connection unmanageable? Are we grateful still for those times? The elusive answer is no. Consider the story of Job. He lost everything: his money, his kids, his health. But the first reaction of Job was praising: “The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; let the name of the Lord be praised” (Job 1:21). Job’s thanksgiving lay not in the way he was put but in his inexorable belief in God’s nature.

Thanksgiving for challenges is not an attitude of not feeling and not knowing. It is believing that God is with us in our pain, and that His will is good, even if we don’t see it.

Another good source is the apostle, Paul. Writing from a prison cell, he called the Philippians to ‘speak with joy in the Lord always’ (Philippians 4:4). Paul’s thanksgiving was not based on his situation but on his interior reality: he was Christ’s. Gratitude helps us look past our current struggles to eternal hope in Jesus. Gratitude Changes Us Gratitude does not honour God: it transforms us. It turns us

from what is to what is. It changes our hearts; it re-awakens our minds, and it moves us closer to God. Paul writes in Philippians 4:6-7, “For don’t worry about anything, but in all things by prayer and petition, praising God, make known to him your petitions. And the peace of God, which is above all understanding, will be with your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Thanksgiving and peace go hand in hand. We bring the worries to God with a thankful heart, and He displaces the worry with His divine tranquillity. Science – even – endorses Scripture. Gratitude has been proven to be better for the mind, the relationships and the happiness. But Christians know that gratitude is not only a personal wellness tool: it’s a spiritual habit that brings us in line with God’s purposes. How to Cultivate Gratitude But how do we live gratefully? Here are three practical steps:

1. Appreciate God’s Blessings: Be mindful every day about what God has done for you. Pro Tip: You can also start a gratitude journal and write 3 things that you’re grateful for every day. They don’t need to be epic — even a kind word or a sunset worth celebrating are blessings.

2. Tell God and Others: Thanks goes up when you tell it.

3. Thanksgiving in Worship: Include thanksgiving in your worship. Sing praise songs, read psalms of thanksgiving, and recount testimonies of God’s grace.

A Life of Gratitude We are Christ’s heart when we live a life of thanks. Jesus Himself modelled gratitude. When He fed the 5,000, He blessed (John 6:11). While he was at the Last Supper, knowing what adversity He was about to be subjected to, He thanked (Luke 22:19). Gratitude was part of His communion with the Father and so should we. When we come to an end, remember what Psalm 118:24 says: “This is the day the Lord has given us; rejoice and be glad in it.” No matter what today has in store for us, we have good reason to rejoice because God is good, his love never fails, and He is worthy of praise. As a Church, be a people of thanksgiving, of thanksgiving that glorifies God, that strengthens our faith, and that gives witness to the world. Amen.

SONG-Hearing & Obeying God's Voice as Exemplified by Jesus

These are brief notes for each slide of the presentation on how Jesus lived in communion with God: All the points are so rich, they will teach all members of this group as to how to listen and live by the voice of God.

1.Jesus: Hear and Listen to God’s Voice” The Son of God Jesus lives an example of listening to His Father’s voice in total obedience. This lecture looks at the ways that Jesus heard and answered God and made God’s standard for us. We can seek to hear God’s voice with the same focus and contrition we do from Him if we learn his story.

2.“The Son Who Always Listened”: Jesus lived to please God – John 5:30 shows that, when he was asking for God’s will, Jesus gave more of Himself than his. His role model is for us to have a heart that hears God’s voice and puts our will in his will.

3. “Jesus’ Baptism: A Plain Speech from God” Jesus’ baptism was God’s voice declaring Jesus’ mission, saying “This is my Son whom I love. This effulgent moment was at once a confirmation of Jesus’ divinity and a wake-up call for disciples. It reminds us that, with God, we can have affirmation and clarity in purpose as well.

4.”Hearing God in the Wilderness” Jesus was tempted very hard in the wilderness, but he did not let go and kept his faith in God’s Word. The Scripture was confronted at every admonition, the authority of divine truth. We must ask God’s help in a wilderness like his, when we feel frightened and alone.

5. “Jesus in Prayer: Ever in Communion with God” Jesus used to retreat to pray, as if communing with God was His life’s work. He prayed regularly but always. We can also stay in the presence of God in prayer, seeking Him in all that we do.

6. “The Transfiguration: God Says Again” When God re-empowered Jesus and his ministry at the Transfiguration, he told him to “Hear Him!” This historic incident confirmed Jesus’ authority as God. It tells us what it means to be obedient to the words of Jesus, and to look for breakthrough moments in the presence of God.

7. “Hearing God with Scripture” Jesus had turned to the Scripture for guidance about what God would have us do, and he made it so necessary to that. With God’s Word we can set our heart and mind toward truth in God’s Word so we can hear His voice and be holy.

8. “The Garden of Gethsemane: Doing God’s Will” At Gethsemane, Jesus obeyed God’s will at a personal expense: “Not as I will, but as you will”. He obediently obeyed God, in pain, and he shows us that obedience comes at a cost, in believing in God’s larger plan.

9. Jesus’ Submission to God’s Will” In Jesus’ life that ended in the cross, his submission to God’s will is evident. He died on the cross, as a sacrifice of love and obedience, showing that obedience to God can be painful, but it is a divine good.

10. Jesus and the Holy Spirit” The ministry of Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit to accomplish God’s plan. In this connection we remember that the Holy Spirit is also with us to listen to and be moved by God’s voice.

11. “Our Model: Hearing God Like Jesus” Jesus models the life of a Christian who listens to God’s voice through prayer, Word and Spirit. We are called to cultivate these things as disciples, waiting on God to guide us in His will.

12. “Closure: A Life of Hearing and Being Obeyed” Jesus’ life was one of perfect obedience and fellowship with God. We should live like he did, seeking God in prayer, in scripture, and in submission to His will with the same intensity.
